Due to heavy traffic machinery, these warehouse floors were extremely damaged and in need of repairs. The first step was to add an epoxy mortar patch/resurface and then add a fast-set high build floor coating for a seamless look.

Step-by-Step Guide to Restoring Damaged Warehouse Floors with TREFLITE™and FASTCURE™
High-traffic warehouse environments often face extreme wear and tear, especially from heavy machinery like forklifts and pallet jacks. Over time, this leads to cracked, pitted, and damaged concrete surfaces that not only look unprofessional but also pose safety risks. A recent project called for a full floor restoration using TREFLITE epoxy mortar to patch and resurface, followed by FAST-CURE high-build coating for a seamless, durable finish.

Step 1: Repair with TREFLITEEpoxy Mortar
TREFLITE™ is an all-purpose epoxy repair mortar ideal for industrial floors with deep damage.

  1. Prepare the Surface: Clean the damaged area thoroughly by removing dust, oil, and any loose debris. Mechanical surface prep such as grinding or shot blasting ensures better adhesion.
  2. Mix Treflite: Combine the resin, hardener, and aggregate according to product instructions. Mix until a consistent, thick mortar forms.
  3. Apply the Product: Trowel the TREFLITE™
mixture into the damaged areas, pressing firmly to fill voids. Feather the edges for a level finish.
  4. Allow to Cure: Let TREFLITE™ set completely before proceeding. This typically takes several hours, depending on temperature and humidity.

Step 2: Coat with Fastcure High-Build Epoxy
FAST-CURE is a fast-set, chemical-resistant coating designed to provide a smooth, long-lasting finish.

  1. Surface Prep: Ensure the TREFLITE™ has cured. Lightly sand and vacuum the area if necessary to remove any contaminants.
  2. Mix Fastcure: Combine Part A and Part B in the specified ratio and mix thoroughly.
  3. Apply the Coating: Use a squeegee or roller to apply evenly across the surface. Work quickly—Fastcure sets rapidly.
  4. Optional Second Coat: For extra durability, apply a second layer once the first is tack-free.

Using TREFLITE and FAST-CURE together transforms damaged concrete floors into seamless, industrial-grade surfaces that can withstand heavy loads and ongoing traffic. This efficient, two-step system minimizes downtime while delivering professional-grade results that last.
